For applications requiring greater cooling and airflow Vento manufactures the SOLA-BOOST which through the addition of a solar driven internal fan can provide a building an additional 260l/s of fresh air. This is on top of the 710l/s provided by the passive shafts alone!*
The intelligent system works on the basis that the brighter the sun, the greater the speed of the boost fan.
The award-winning SOLA-BOOST® is an extension of the proven WINDCATCHER design, providing additional ventilation on sunny days whilst maintaining zero running costs, making it the perfect solution for the southern hemisphere!
This allows the SOLA-BOOST to increase air flow when it is needed most, while the fans operation can also be quickly set to extract stale air making it highly versatile.This additional fan speed is achieved through the inclusion of Monodraught’s patented PowerTrack™ control system which utilises the brightness of the sun to switch fan speed resulting in 2½ times more power from the solar panel than could be achieved by original models.
