Melbourne’s prestigious Melbourne Grammar School is going green this Summer – with the installation of five Australian-made, 900sqm SOLA-BOOST WINDCATCHER® units!
The SOLA-BOOST WINDCATCHER units will lower energy bills associated with the school’s current mechanical ventilation system. Students will also be educated in a comfortable indoor climate to improve student concentration and productivity.
Melbourne Grammar School already has an impressive track record for sustainable building which is supported by students members of the School’s SLIC (Sustainable Lifestyle Improvement Committee). In April this year, solar panels were installed onto the roof of the Nigel Peck Centre to offset the carbon dioxide produced in supplying electricity to the air-conditioned building.
